Delete your account

How to delete your Shivio account, and exactly what that removes.

Not legal advice. This page is drafted to give customers and stores a real, substantive answer today — it is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer, and Shivio’s operator should have it checked before relying on it for a public launch.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app or on the website

You can delete your account at any time, with no need to contact anyone:

  • Shivio mobile app — open the Account tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, then confirm.
  • Website — sign in, open your Account page, choose Delete my account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately and you are signed out of every device.

2. If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to your account, or have already uninstalled the app, email admin@shivio.in from the address, or with the mobile number, registered on the account. We may ask you to confirm something only the account’s owner would know before we act, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming it is you.

3. What is removed

  • Your name, email address, mobile number and password.
  • Your saved delivery addresses.
  • Your wishlist and recently viewed items.
  • Devices registered for push notifications.
  • Your sign-in sessions on every device.

4. What is kept, and why

Orders you have already placed stay on record with the stores that fulfilled them, the same way a receipt does — that is the store’s record of a real transaction, and where the law requires us to keep an order or payment record, we keep it in a form that is no longer identifiable to you. Reviews you wrote may remain, shown without your name.

Nothing is kept for advertising or sold to anyone. For everything else we do with your information while your account exists, see the Privacy Policy.

5. This cannot be undone

Once an account is deleted we cannot restore it or its history. You are always welcome to create a new account later, but it will start empty.
